He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Thorogood and Ellen Thorogood; and his brother Gord (late Noreen). He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his children, Dan (Karen), Chris (Randy Baker), Brian (Jody) and Pamela (Mike Burt); his grandchildren, Sara (Daniel), Stephen (Jill), Jon (Meagan), Scott (Christine), Nicole (Ben), Matthew, Jessica (Nathan), Zachary, Emily, Joshua, Adeline, David and Aaron; and his sister Vi Sheridan (late Norman). He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, his brothers and sisters in law.
A funeral service was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Evangel Assembly (705 Maple St, Fredericton, NB E3A3S1).
Donations in lieu of flowers to Calvary Pentecostal Church, Orillia, Evangel Assembly, Fredericton or the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in his name will be welcomed.
