He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Colwell and Edith Colwell (Wasson); his sister Verna; his grandchildren, Joshua "Josh" and Rebecca "Becky" Cooper; and his sons-in-law, Ben Cooper and Bruce Burleigh.
He is survived by: his wife Marie (Fox); his daughters, Debra Cooper Roach (George), Doris Burleigh and Donna Murray (Sean); his grandson Tavis Burleigh (Eileen); his great grandchildren, Linsay, Saydee, Greysen and Easton; and his sister Susan McCracken (Brice).
A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel (160 York St, Fredericton, NB E3B3N7).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Hospice House, or a charity of the donor's choice.
