Ronald Evans Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ronald Evans (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Violet Evans and Caleb Evans; and his siblings, Lynwood Evans (Elsie) and Donna Arnold (John). He is survived by: his wife Sherrie Evans (Boone); his children, Lori Schriver (Ray), Brent (Darlene) and Sherrie Lee (Edward); his grandchildren, Robin Mohle (Adam), Evan Schriver (Danielle), Andrew Schriver (Hannah), Heather Edwards (Cory) and Greg Moore; and his great grandchildren, Maddie Moore, Amelia and Sophia Schriver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:45 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM. Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, remembrances may be made to Portage Atlantic, Ron Evans Bursary, Hospice House, North Cardigan United Church Cemetery or the charity of the donor's choice.
