He is survived by: his parent Lydia Melanson (Comeau); his wife Jane Melanson (Brewer); his son Brent Melanson (Diane) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Jessica Melanson, Megan Melanson and Adam Melanson of Kingston Ontario; and his siblings, Lawrence (Brenda), Fred (Gayle) and Betty Bonnevie of Fredericton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
