She was predeceased by: her parents, Earle Lewis and Mary Lewis; and her grandson Ryan Rogers. She is survived by: her husband Victor; her grandsons, Jacob Hoyt and Will Rogers; and her sister Florence Tolman (Paul). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Ruby passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018 at the York Care Centre in Fredericton after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's.
