It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Margaret Hallett (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on April 28, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Phyllis Mills (Estey) and Neil Mills. She is survived by: her husband Mark Hallett; her children, Carrie Hallett (Jace) and Greg Hallett (Lindsay); her sister Anne Trecartin (Stephen); and her grandchildren, Camden and Julie Hallett. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, sisters and brothers in law.
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A memorial service was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Nashwaaksis United Church (46 Main St, Fredericton, NB E3A1C1). A reception was held on Monday, May 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nashwaaksis United Church, The Alzheimer's society of NB, York Care Foundation in Sharon's name or to the charity of the donor's choice.
