Shaun Leo Francis Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shaun Leo Francis (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 6, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Rebecca Francis of Kingsclear and Vincent Francis Sr. of Elsipogtog; his grandmother Mary Devoe (Molly); his son Turrell Francis; and his godfather David Young.

He is survived by: his children, Tyra Francis and Abel Mahoney; his siblings, Vincent Jr. (Donna), Bruce, Ryan, Brett, Martha, Betina and Chrissy (Chelsey); his nieces, Charlee (Shawn), Aneesa, Cipriana, Natawne (Mitch) and Tatiana; his nephew Drake; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Cassius, Lennox, Amaria and Zayda; his grandfather Clarence Atwin (Timer); his godmother Martha Francis; his uncle Max; and his aunts, Rosemary, Laura, Ernestine, Beatrice and Cecilia. He is also survived by cousins and lifelong friends.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anne's Catholic Church. A burial was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at the Adjoining Cemetery.
