She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Joseph Brooks and Mabel Polchies; her siblings, Mary Ann, Pauline, Susan, Walter, Melvin A., Thomas and Dean; and her great grandchild Emma O'Malley.
She is survived by: her husband Morley Frederick Howe; her daughters, Deborah Johnson (Kevin), Judith Adams (Peter), Candice Paul (Robert), Sandra Nolan (Ted), Shari (Brian Hunt) and Lisa Howe (Martin); and her siblings, Maureen Fox (Brian) and Wayne Brooks (Kim). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Saint Mary's Maqiyahtimok Centre (247 Maliseet Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A2W1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM.
