Shirley Mills Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 6, 2025, at the age of 88, Shirley Mills of Fredericton, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leil and Mabel Leil (McPhee); her husband Douglas "Tiny" Mills; and her siblings, Jean, Margaret, Ada, Isabelle, Kathleen, Jim, Kenny and Billy.
She is survived by: her sons, Darryl Mills (Kathleen) of Cochrane, AB and Paul Mills (Jocelyne) of Fredericton, NB; her grandchildren, Lauren, Josh, Kay, Owen and Hayden; and her sisters, Evelyn Brown and Anna Blundell (Chris). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel (108 Winnebago St, Oromocto, NB E2V1C7).
Donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Hospice Fredericton.
