He is survived by: his wife Linda Patterson (Smith); his daughters, Jennifer Johnstone and Melissa Patterson (Bob Hiscock); his grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Emily and Alex Johnstone; and his brother Christopher Patterson. He is also survived by extended family members, nieces, and nephews.
