He was predeceased by: his father Roderick Read. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Marie Read (Nicks); his mother Agnes Read (Hastie); his brothers, Malcolm Read (Gail), Rev. Randall Read (Patricia) and Robin Read (Krista Gould); and his aunt Ella Ripley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews.
