Velma Owen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Owen (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on February 19, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma Owen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Erskine Hunter and Rosie Brown (Wall); her grandson Justin Owen; and her brothers, Preston Hunter and Elwood Hunter.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Carr (Bruce), Preston (Sharon), Paul (Tanya) and David (Charmaine); her sister Olive Bryanton; her sister-in-law Linda Hunter; and her grandchildren, Amanda (Dennis), Sarah (Adam), Michael (Stacey), Tiffany (Mark), Brooke, Becky, Gary, Amber and Katie. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
