We bid farewell to Vivian Shirley Roussel (Fredericton, New Brunswick), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Vivian touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her spouse Camille Roussel; her parents, Irene Fraser (Gilmore) and Clair Fraser; her siblings, Jean Spilman, Pearl Armstrong, Gertrude Colpitts, Beth Renaldo, June Douglass, Ted, Fred, John and Peter Fraser; her grandson Mark Neadow; and her stepson Raymond Roussel.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Spencer (Graeme) of Hanwell, Carla Neadow-Illsley of Fredericton and Patrick "Rick" Thibault (Janice) of MacLaggan Bridge; her stepsons, Gerald Roussel and Donald Roussel (Karen); her grandchildren, Charles, Greg, Lecia, Tamara, Ben and Bailey; and her great grandchildren, Reina, Lennox, Levi, Oliver, Henry, Amelia and Mia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
