He was predeceased by: his parents, Cora Smith (Weade) and Merton Smith; and his sister Sharon Raeburn. He is survived by: his wife Sheryl Lynn Smith (Chase); his daughters, Lynnette Brewer (Joel) and Karen Bell (Mike); his granddaughters, Ellen Brewer, Leah Brewer-Bilerman, Maggie Gilmore (Eric), Kilee Gallagher (Mike) and Morgan Lord (Mike); his great grandchildren, Nora, Kace Gallagher, Hazel and Holly Lord; his sister-in-law Donna Estey (Ray); his siblings, Karen McIntire and Adam Raeburn (Cheryl); his cousin Arlo MacPherson (Gail); and his nieces and nephews, Clint (Jacqueline), Brock Estey, Krista Dionne, Meghan House (Aaron) and Allie Daigle (Matt).
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hope City Church (429 Clements Dr, Fredericton, NB E3G7J1).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Wayne's memory may be made to Village of Hope and Greenhill Lake Camp or to a charity of your choice.
