He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sands and Mary Sands (Gill); his wife Elsie Sands; and his brother John Sands. He is survived by: his sons, James of Fredericton and Kenneth of Windsor, ON; his siblings, Eileen (Dave), Karl and Gary Sands (Dianne); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
