He was predeceased by: his parent Vera Murray; his siblings, Patricia, Doug, William and Thomas; and also Ervin Williams.

He is survived by: his parent Thomas Williams; his daughters, Stephanie Coffin (Dave), Erika Williams and Christine Williams (Bill Laurence); his grandchildren, Eric Coffin (Andrea), Alex Coffin (Hope) and Evan Laurence; his great grandchildren, Gavin and Jenna; his significant other Marlene Ellis; and his wife Renate.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (Atlantic).
