He was predeceased by : his parents, Helen Hennessy (O'Leary) and Edison Hennessy; and his brother O'Leary Hennessy. He is survived by : his daughter Elaine Bell (Nathan); his grandchildren, Sam Bell and Audrey Bell; his sister-in-law Marie Dubuc; his aunt Patricia O'Leary Coughlan; and his cousin Teresa McEachern.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
