He was predeceased by: his wife Doris; his parents, Hal Johnson (Harold) and Gladys Johnson (Jones); his siblings, Darrel Johnson (late Edith), Donald Johnson (late Pat), Doris Blaney (late Alden) and Alma Tucker (late Elwood); and his brother-in-law Monty Kelly.

He is survived by: his children, Debra Allen (Mike), Bob Johnson (Connie) and Nancy O'Toole (Phil); his grandchildren, Mark Allen (Dawn), Scott Allen, Jessica Storey (Joe), Nathan Johnson (Natalie), Corey O'Toole, Cody O'Toole and Chris O'Toole (Heather); his great grandchildren, Rylie, Lowen and Penelope; and his sister Myrna Kelly. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“To the family of Willis Johnson, John and I are so sorry to learn of Willis' death. What a fine man he was! We were longtime members of Saint Andrews and knew Willis and Doris well. We grieve them both. Know that Willis was one of the good ones and was a friend to all. He was a true believer, as was Doris, and they were such hard workers for Saint ANdrew's. We live in Ontario now, but can picture where they sat those many years in Saint Andrew's and that gives us comfort. God bless you all”
