With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Winston Franklin Mitchell (Fredericton, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 19, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Mitchell (Allaby) and Robert Mitchell; his wife Del; and his brother George Mitchell. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Hepner (Al McMillan), Kathy Powers (Rick) and Bob Mitchell (Kay); and his sister-in-law Lois Ogilvie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A reception will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the York Funeral Home (302 Brookside Dr, Fredericton, NB E3A5K2).
For those who wish, remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association, Fredericton SPCA, the Endowment Fund of the United Way of Central NB, or to a charity of donor's choice.
