He was predeceased by : his parents, John Bowmaster and Sylvina Bowmaster (McQuade); his son Billy-Joe Bowmaster; his son-in-law Mark Steeves; his siblings, Louise Bowmaster, Lorraine Johnson, Cecil, Delbert, Francis, Charles, Ambrose and Otis Bowmaster; and his half-sister Pearl Haines.

He is survived by : his daughters, Kimberley Steeves of North View, NB, Dannielle Monaghan (Barry) of Grand Bay and Brittany Bowmaster of Gagetown, NB; his grandchildren, Ethan Steeves, Emma Davenport, Samantha Levesque, Billy-Joe Chase and Alec Chase; his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Lucas, Rose, Laine and J. J.; and his siblings, Dolly Foster of Bairdsville, NB, Florence Greer of Perth-Andover, NB, Linda Adams of Fredericton, NB, Jerome Bowmaster of Bairdville, NB, Louis Bowmaster (Bonnie) of Riverview, NB, John Bowmaster Jr. (Nancy) of Perth-Andover, NB and Brian Bowmaster (Angela) of Aroostook, NB. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
