She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Carroll Cail and Pauline Cail (McFawn); her husband Doug MacDonald; her children, Carla Gaudet (Joe) of Waasis and Scott MacDonald of Geary; her grandchildren, Craig, Cody and Skyler; and her siblings, Helen Robinson, Carol Lockhart of Fredericton and Jim Cail of Fredericton. She was also cherished by her 3 great-grandchildren.
