She was predeceased by: her parents, Bontje Staden and Petrus Staden; her husband Peter; and her siblings, Jan, Harmanus, Gesina, Menzo, Henk and Pieter.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Beekman, Sharon Kay (Jeff) and Roger Beekman (Susan); her grandchildren, Myrhanda McKay, Melissa Black, Derek Kay and Sarah Kay; and her great grandchildren, Joey Kay, Jace Brimmer, Madison Black, Jaden Black, Lucas Black, Brigid Black, Lillian Bartlett and Charlee Bartlett. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the L. R. Giberson Funeral Chapel (207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol, NB E7L1Z1).
