He is survived by: his parents, Samuel Darkis and Gladys Darkis (Perry); his wife Ruth; his children, Debbie Wood (Jerry), Samuel Darkis (Donna), Jane Darkis, Juanita Poirier (Joe) and Sarah Darkis; his grandchildren, Emily Wood, Thomas Wood, Carrie Wood, Jason Darkis, Matthew Darkis, Margaret Poirier, Patrick Poirier and Joey Poirier; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Katie, Kira and Connor. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
