She was predeceased by: her brother Ronald Bruce; and her former husband William Paley. She is survived by: her parents, Earl and Etta (Joe); her sons, David Bruce (Lisa) of Sherwater, NS, Adam Manuel (Brittany) of Saint John and Michael Paley of Grand Bay; her grandson Damien; her siblings, Harold Bruce of Saint John, Eric Bruce (Amie) of Willow Grove, Jean Paley (Kenneth) and Cathy Desylva (Gerald); and her nieces and nephews, Shellie, Vanessa, Amy, Ronald, Taylor and Samantha.

The family would appreciate donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
