With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johanna Morse of Grand Manan, New Brunswick, who passed away on May 4, 2021 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Johanna Morse to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Mourik and Allegonda van Mourik (van Ton); her husband Lawrence Morse; her son Brian Lawrence; her siblings, Marie Russell (Fleet), Jan and Harry Mourik; and her brother-in-law Myron Morse.

She is survived by : her children, Doreen Christie (Chico) of Hampton and Allen Morse (Sonya) of Grand Manan; her grandchildren, Derek Christie (Radecia), Amanda Christie, Aaron Morse (Jackee) and Trevor Morse; her great grandchildren, Alexa and Jewel Christie; her siblings, Bill Mourik (Thelma) and Artje Ingalls; and her sister-in-law Karen Morse. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many cherished friends.

Due to the on-going pandemic the funeral will be by invitation only, masks and physical distancing must be adhered to at all times.

Donations in Johanna's memory can be made to the White Head Baptist Church, White Head Cemetery fund, Canadian Heart and Stroke foundation, or charity of the donor's choice.
