He was predeceased by: his parents, Viola Matthews (Nicolle) and Richard Matthews; and his siblings, Marilyn, Shirley, Marsha, Bobby, Jimmy, Gary and Jack.
He is survived by: his son Joel Bainbridge; and his siblings, Carol Phillips (Jack) of Ontario, Judy Portiss (Ray) of Ontario, Brenda Gallant (Louis) of Shediac, Elaine Jessome (Michael) of Edmundston, Karen Matthews (Mike LeBlanc) of Dieppe, Harold Matthews, Mark Matthews (Karen) and Greg Matthews (Karen) of Dieppe. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
COVID-19 restrictions will be in place and wearing a mask is mandatory.
