She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Damon McKay Downey; her parents, Peter Loggie Thompson and Frances May (Green); and her children, Barry Short (Carol), Lynn Roy (Mike), Kelly Galbraith, Darren Downey (Tina), Lisa Pattison (George), Heidi Kelly (Tim) and Chip Downey (Michelle). She was also cherished by 26 grandchildren, and 14 (and counting) great grandchildren.
