He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmond Vanier and Rita Vanier (Keeping). He is survived by: his wife Frances Vanier (Short); his children, Tracy Mercer (Rob) of Erb's Cove, NB, Elisha Ganong (Doug) of Kingston, NB and Jason Scribner (Lindsay) of Didsbury, AB; and his siblings, Ruby Ryan (Darwin), Edmond Vanier (Lorraine), Valerie Robertson (Andrew) and Rob Vanier. He is also survived by six grandchildren and seven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Reid's Funeral Home (1063 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5X9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Reid's Funeral Home Chapel (1063 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5X9).
