He was predeceased by: his parents, Mel Parker and Minta Parker; and his father-in-law Don Tandy (Arlis). He is survived by: his wife Ann; his son Bobby (Karen); his grandchildren, Amilee, Lydia, Abigail and Austin; his sisters, Madeline McKenzie (late Robert) and Brenda Lamey (Jack); his sister-in-law Sylvia; and his mother-in-law Betty Tandy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
