He was predeceased by: his parents, John Boyd and Pauline Boyd; and his wife Lillian. He is survived by: his children, James Boyd (Karen) of Rothesay, NB, Nathan Boyd (Catherine) of Wilton, NH and Jennifer Shaw (Michael) of White Head, NB.; and his siblings, Kathy and Stephen. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennebecasis Community Funeral Home (152 Pettingill Rd, Quispamsis, NB E2E3S6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hampton Baptist Church (776 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5L3). A burial was held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the White Head Island Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to The New Brunswick Bible Institute.
