We announce the death of Mary Hanlon (Hampton, New Brunswick), who passed away on August 27, 2026, at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Hourihan and Dorothy Hourihan (Bagley); her husband Jim; her brother Leonard; and her cousin Fr. Peter Bagley.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Hanlon (Mauro) of Norton, NB, Stephen Hanlon (Maureen) of Saint John, NB, Peter Hanlon (Mary) of Quispamsis, NB, Margaret Hanlon (Tim) of Campbellville, ON, Maureen Hanlon (Ryan) of Quispamsis, NB and Kathleen Riecken (David) of Hampton, NB; her sister Margaret Hourihan (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Rebecca, Laura, Hilary, Bennett, Matthew, Stephen, James, Liam, Connor, Sarah, Charlotte, Ryan and Maggie; and her siblings-in-law, Patrick Hanlon (Sharron), Doreen Marcon and Anne McNamara (Michael).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reid's Funeral Home (1063 Main St, Hampton, NB E5N5X9). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (129 NB-124, Norton, NB E5T2C3). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery (129 NB-124, Norton, NB E5T2C3).
