He was predeceased by : his parents, Arch Ginson and Lena Ginson (Delong); his former life partner Shirley (Harris); his wife Dorothy (Smalley Clark); his son-in-law George Young; and his siblings, Charlie, Margaret, Blanche, Harold, Claude, Audley, Inez and Dorothy.

He is survived by : his children, Richard Ginson (Linda) and Dianne Ebbett (John); his grandchildren, Sally Ginson, Mandy Ginson and Kirby Ginson (Katrina); his great grandchildren, Kasen and Klara; his granddaughter Jodi Young; his great grandchild Camden; his grandson Andrew Young (Julie); his great grandchildren, Sadie and Foster; his stepdaughter Becky Urquhart (Steven); his stepgrandchildren, Sharol and Scott; his stepdaughter Colette Keith (Ken); his stepgrandchild Teagan; his stepson Mark Clark (Bethany); and his stepgrandchildren, Nathaniel, Timothy, Andrea, Jenna Dyer (Justin) and Justin Rideout (Jennifer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
