Though Gerald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Gerald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Greer and Bernice Greer (Kinney); his wife Evelyn Greer (Rideout); his brother Donald Greer; and his siblings-in-law, Thelma Rideout, Ronald Rideout (Alba), Wendell and Kilburn Rideout.
He is survived by: his son Donald Greer (Dawn) of New Maryland. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Britton Funeral Home (2 High St, Hartland, NB E7P2L2). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 2:15 PM at the same location.
