Margaret E. Johnston Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2025, at the age of 95, Margaret E. Johnston (Hartland, New Brunswick) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Pelkey and Ada Pelkey; her husbands, John Johnston and Ivan Mean; her son Deverne Johnston; her sons-in-law, Terry Holmes and Phillip Green; her grandson Derek Johnston; and her siblings, Archie Pelkey (Ann), Felix Pelkey (Barbara McNutt) and Sondra Blackman (Harry).
She is survived by: her children, Dwayne Johnston (Linda) of Lansdowne, Davis Johnston (Sharon) of Lansdowne, Debbie Green of Woodstock, Connie Holmes of Hartland and SueEllen Derrah (Richard) of Mount Pleasant; and her grandchildren, Nicole Miller (Darrell), Melinda DeMerchant (Dwayne), Rodney Johnston (Julie), Corey Johnston (Shelley), Jonathon Johnston, Joellen Burrell (Ray), Ryan Johnston (Natasha), Amanda Holmes (Dana Agnew), Jeramie Holmes (Kristen), Devan Derrah (Caitlin), Julie Lewis (Nevin) and Lauren McIntosh (Eric). She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
