He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Ingersoll and Armina Ingersoll; and his brother-in-law Richard Myers. He is survived by: his wife Jean Ingersoll; his children, David Ingersoll (Melonie) of Riverview, NB and Kimberley Messenger (Raymond); his siblings, David Ingersoll (Genevieve), Edith Corey (Michael) and Shirley Myers; and his grandchildren, Lauren, Jordan, Alicia (Richard), Leandra, Janaya and Jamin.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Kingswood University or Beulah Camp and Conference Center.
