He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Palmer and Audrey Palmer; and his siblings, Lee Palmer and Jill Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Palmer of Hartland; his children, Joseph Palmer (Hilary) of Weston, Sally Carvery (Maurice) of Halifax, Christopher Palmer (Linh) of Hartland and Brian Carroll (Rhonda) of Noonan; his grandchildren, Aidan Palmer, Alex DeMerchant, Drew DeMerchant, Sarai DeMerchant, Arianna Carvery, Maurice Carvery, Cooper Palmer, Brianne Carroll and Nathan Carroll; his brother Donald Palmer; his nieces, Katherine Palmer and Lydia Dawn Tullak; and his great-nephews, Brady Atherton and Luke Atherton.
