He was predeceased by: his parents, Amedée Gautreau and Yvonne Gautreau (LeBlanc); and his siblings, Ulysse, Emery, Henri, Aquila, Alice, Anita and Dorine.

He is survived by: his wife Albertine Gautreau (Léger); his daughters, Brenda LeBlanc (Virgil) of Shediac, Donna LeBlanc (Claude) of Bedford, NS and Christina Breau (Jason) of Moncton; his brothers, Donald (Florence) of Shediac Bridge, Omer (Gisèle) of Haute-Aboujagane and Jean (Candy) of Montreal; his granddaughters, Danica, Carrie, Amy and Adèle; and his sister-in-law Gisèle Breau of Memramcook. He is also survived by many nieces and, nephews.
