He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldéric "Déri" Richard and Agnès Richard (Cormier); his son Georges; and his siblings, Lucy Boudreau, Adrice, Arthur, Yvon, Éric, Ulysse, Rose LeBlanc, Huberte Bouque, Yvonne, Léger, Dorilla Dallaire, Émerise Porelle, Camille, Alyre, Dorice Richard and Marie Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Florence of Haute-Aboujagane; his children, Lise LeBlanc (Serge) of Cap-Pelé and Samuel of Haute-Aboujagane; his sister Florence LeBlanc (Valmond Boudreau) of Shediac; his grandsons, Randy (Chelsey) and Corey; and his great grandchildren, Maddie and Hunter.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM and on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Centre Funéraire Frenette Funeral Centre (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Centre Funéraire Frenette (396 Main St, Shediac, NB E4P2G1).
