He is survived by : his significant other Shirley Thorne (Corey); his children, Michael Thorne (Shawn Cossey) of Waterborough, NB, Catherine MacKeil (Scott) of Dartmouth, NS and Andrew Thorne (Jodi Camp) of Fort McMurray, AB.; his grandchildren, Jake Thorne (Ellen) of Schreiber, ON, Joel Thorne (Bre) of Halifax, NS, Sarah MacKeil of Dartmouth, NS, Mathew and Jennifer Thorne of Fort McMurray, AB; his great grandchildren, Kallie, Noah and Hunter Thorne; his nephew Dr. David Thorne; and his niece Ruth McGuire (Lawrence).
