The memory of Carvel Stanley Sheffar (Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 31, 2025 at the age of 86, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Garnet Sheffar-Ledger and Orpah Sheffar-Ledger (Stewart); his stepfather Arthur Ledger; his wife Joan Sheffar (Armstong); his son Paul; and his siblings, Ronnie, George, Reggie, Alphone, Wallace "Wiggie" (Marina), Fletcher, Floyd, Irene and Gertie (Pat).
He is survived by: his close friends, Esmond Porter and Sean Blewett; his son Todd Sheffar; his grandson Dustin (Tara); and his sisters-in-law, Imelda Shaffer of Riverview and Dorothy Shaffer of Shenstone. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, his extended family.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
