It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Joan Bishop (Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick), who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Dorothy (Hawkes); her husband Winston; and her brother-in-law George Bishop (Bob Dukeshire). She is survived by: her children, Karen Rossiter of Lower Cape, Linda Davis (Phillip) of Moncton, Susan Bishop (Albert) of Stoney Creek, Karl Bishop (Vicki) of Moncton and Calvin Bishop of Moncton; her grandchildren, Kim (Wes), Samantha (Jeff), Ryan, Cody (Emilie), Tara (Dustin), Logan, Meika (Kayleb) and Morgan (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Jayden, Ashton, Jayce, Fraya, Willow and Emily; her siblings, Janet Walsh (Brian) of Salisbury and Kevin O'Hara (Tracey) of Lower Coverdale; her siblings-in-law, Betty Dukeshire of Ontario, Ruth Bishop of Hillsborough and Lyall Bishop (Cynthia) of Ontario; and her cousin Joe Hamilton. She is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Albert County Funeral Home (4130 NB-114, Hopewell Cape, NB E4H). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at the same location.
