He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Stead and Mildred Frances Lutes (Leaman); and his siblings, Neil Lutes and Evelyn Tremain. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Dingee of Lower Coverdale; his children, Chris Lutes of Moncton, Nick Lutes of Moncton and Hillary Lutes (Lisa Croft) of Moncton; his stepsons, Brent Maloney (Maria) of Boston and Kyle Maloney (Julia) of Halifax; his grandchildren, Alex Lutes, Theo Maloney and Della Maloney; and his siblings-in-law, Dave Tremain of Ottawa and Carolyn Lutes of Alberta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations to the Shenstone Cemetery, Alzheimer's Society (Lewy Body Dementia) or a charity of the donor's choice.
