He was predeceased by : his parents, Marven Steeves and Erma Steeves (Milton); his wife Jackie (Jonah); his sister Darlene Blakney (Bob); and his brother-in-law Darrel Milton.

He is survived by : his children, Kelley Nelson (Rob) of Barrie and Jason "Troy" Steeves of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Ashley, Jesse, Jacob and Jonah; his great grandchild Mackenzie; his stepgreat-grandchild Rylee; and his sister Peggy Milton (Aurele LeBlanc) of Riverview. He is also survived by his extended family -The Jonah's and by several nieces, nephews and friends.
