She was predeceased by : her parents, James Elliott and Catherine Elliott (Bogle); her husband Keith Black; her son Roger; her grandson Robert Arbeau; and her siblings, Hazel, Ethel, Edna, Reta, Kay, Charles, Walter, Victor, Parker, Winston and Weldon.

She is survived by : her children, Beverly Thibodeau (Paul) of Hillsborough, Wanda Upham (Lynn) of Shepody, Sharron Arbeau (Royce) of Hillsborough and Kenneth Black (Joanne) of Hillsborough; her grandchildren, Dean (Christina), Jeffrey (Renata), Adam (Sandy), Andrew (Cheryl), Heidi (Mike), Ellen Rae, Royce (Lindsay), Kara Lee (Gareth) and Marika (An); and her great grandchildren, Emma, Lucas, Ella, Connor, Samuel, Joseph, Hailey, Jack, Sadie, Taylor, Jayda and Georgia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
