She was predeceased by : her parents, Murdock McKinley and Martha McKinley (Geldart); her husband Vaughn; her son Brian; her siblings, Georgie Dixon (Roy), Leona Brantnall (Newman), Murdock Jr., Sterling (Thelma) and Gerald "Jake"; her half-brother Hamilton Kane (Georgia); her siblings-in-law, Bill Mellish, Gerry McKinley and Joan McKinley; and her great grandchild Rowan.

She is survived by : her children, Brenda Upham (Dave Alcorn) of Hillsborough, Beverly Devanney of Riverside-Albert, Fraser Upham (Linda) of Hopewell Hill, Lynn Upham (Wanda) of Shepody and Greg Upham of Dartmouth; her siblings, Pearl Mellish (Waymond Kelly) of Riverview, Alton McKinley of Riverside-Albert and Willis McKinley (Verna Carter) of Riverview; her grandchildren, Shelli (Paul), Trevor (Donna), Heidi (Mike) and Lisa (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Bryan, Connor, Gavin, Jack, Sadie and Zack. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and by several life long friends.
