He was predeceased by : his parents, Ian Ettles and Kathleen Ettles (Stapleton Guyer); and his brothers, Colin, Hugh (Sue), Allan (June) and Roy (Kay).

He is survived by : his spouse Mardie (Greene); and his grandchildren, Tiffany and Nick Bowron.

Those wishing to make donations, his favourites were the SPCA and The Shepody Food Bank.
