He is survived by: his wife Heather Hoover; his children, Billy Petelka (Lizzie) of Toronto, Erin Alkerton (Arlen) of Brantford and Tracy Chestnutt of Paris, ON; his stepchildren, Robbie Hoover (Jen) and Benjamin Hoover (Leah) of Toronto, ON; his daughter-in-law Sarah Hoover (late Daniel) of Oshawa, ON; his grandson Easton; his stepgrandchildren, Aussie, Kyla Royal, Georgya, Rachel, Cameron, Cassie, Jakeub, Tyler, Crystal, Destiny and Jamie; his siblings, Susan Shannon (late George) of Collingwood, ON and John Petelka (Verna) of Nepean, ON; his nephews, Stephen (Cristina) and Matthew; his niece Lisa (Medhi); his cousins, JoJo, Linda and Candie; and his close friends, Wayne Meyers and Tony Policelli.
