It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Ada Johnson (Hopewell Cape, New Brunswick), born in Bracebridge, Ontario, who passed away on April 21, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Slater and Ada Slater (Meeks); her husband Herbert Johnson; her brothers, Russell Slater (Betty) and Raymond Slater (Frieda); her nephew Doug Slater (Patti); and her niece Debbie Helm.

She is survived by : her daughter Donna Alward (Ron) of Riverside-Albert; her grandsons, Steven Alward (Holly) of Port Elgin and Donald Alward (Heather) of Hillsborough; her great grandchildren, Rainy, Samuel, Jonathan and Ada; and her nieces and nephews, Sharon Weber (Lyle), Brenda Meades (Steve), Pam Monk (Rick), Bradley Slater (Vivian), Don Slater (Margaret) and David Helm.

Donations to the Alzheimers Society or charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
