He was predeceased by: his father Joseph McEwen. He is survived by: his wife Kimberley McEwen; his children, Tyler McEwen (Emily McEwen) and Jenna McEwen (Dylan Heino); his mother Shirley McEwen; his siblings, Tim McEwen, Shelley Steeves, Bob McEwen, Tom McEwen and Don McEwen; and his nephew Brett (Mike Gillis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, September 3rd 2025 from 11:45 AM to 1:45 PM at the same location.
Flowers are welcome, and donations in Dan's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Albert House (Hospice Southeast New Brunswick).
