Alice Luimes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Luimes (Jacksonville, New Brunswick), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alice Luimes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lubbert Vandemheen and Grietje Vandemheen (Termaat); her husband Albert; and her siblings, Alberta Noort, Eibertje Leeman, Grace Cooper, Ali VanBeilen, Woutje Slater, Rene, Bill, Jake, Lubbert, Mac and Adriaan.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Munro (Carl), Elizabeth (Greg Harvey), Allan (Kim) and Glendon (Tanya); her grandchildren, Jeremy Robichaud (Jenica), Erin Drapeau (Max), Vanessa Briggs (Jarrod), Alexander (Shelby), Shawn Munro, Eric (Sonja), Will (Tiffany) and Paige (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Raelynn Drapeau, Dax Briggs, Lawson Drapeau, Felix Robichaud, Remy Robichaud, Skylar and Adler; and her sisters-in-law, Phyllis, Carol, Wanda, Ann and Wilda Vandemheen. She is also survived by her family, supporting her husband.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home and Crematorium (337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB E7M3S5). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel (337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, NB E7M3S5).
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Marne Cemetery or Canterbury Fire Department would be appreciated.
